Meet Dr. Robbie Harrell
Dr. Robbie Harrell is a board-certified pediatric dentist who brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to caring for children and families. Originally from Yuma, Arizona, Dr. Robbie discovered early on that pediatric dentistry allowed him to combine clinical excellence with education, empathy, and long-term relationship building.
His philosophy centers on helping every child feel understood, supported, and confident in the dental chair.
Education & Experience
Dr. Robbie earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University, followed by a Master of Education from Arizona State University. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University, graduating with distinction in 2017.
He then pursued advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Yale School of Medicine and the Yale New Haven Hospital System, where he treated a wide range of patients, including children who are medically compromised or have special healthcare needs.
Special Interests & Clinical Focus
Dr. Robbie has a particular passion for caring for patients with special needs. His M.Ed. included an emphasis on autism spectrum disorders, shaping his patient-centered approach that prioritizes communication, comfort, and individualized care. He is deeply committed to creating a welcoming dental experience built on compassion, empathy, and education for both children and parents.
Outside of the Office
Although raised in Arizona, Florida has always felt like home to Dr. Robbie. His parents were born and raised in Gainesville, and he lived in New Smyrna Beach during early childhood before moving west.
Outside the office, he enjoys playing guitar, staying active with sports and workouts, and spending as much time outdoors as possible-especially at the beach.
